Using creativity to express and process emotions

As an Art Therapist my desire is to help enable clients to express their feelings and process their pains/worries, by creating meaning and gaining insight into their emotions through the use of art in a safe and contained environment.

I have a passion for using art to open emotional outlets and feel that I bring a sense of safety and playfulness to the therapy work. I believe that through play and art children and young people are able to process and release emotions that may not be fully expressed by words alone. This is also true for women clients, with whom we simply use art as the mode of expression, sometimes playfully but not using play therapy techniques.

If you are interested in working with me, it would be good to chat so that I can understand more about your present situation and what you are hoping to gain out of the work.

Please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you.
